Hello Listmembers,

After an enjoyable night spent watching the Leonids meteor show with two of my children, I returned home to find that my 1982 Diesel Westfalia was pouring fuel out of the diesel injection pump. I didn't get a good look at exactly where on the pump it was leaking. Does anyone know the common failure modes on these pumps that would produce a stream of fuel, and what kind of a repair project I am looking at?

thanks in advance,

-bret
