Well "normally" when the weather is cold or wet it would idle irradically, then once warm it would be fine. Kinda like yours. But now when I start it, it's ok until the engine's warm, then it starts acting funny. I do know that it's getting worse though. It wasn't as bad the other day as it is now. My mechanic thinking that it's a fuel system problem is porbably correct, but what is the question, so many things it could be. I was hoping that with those symptoms that someone could narrow it down though. thanx again, Tracy Scott Wilson <smorewhisky@yahoo.com> wrote: --- Tracy Bonin wrote: > Ok, so I couldn't figure out what the problem was. could be lots of things...does it start cold well? or is this problem only when warm? man, it could be so many things, the bucking tells me afm or hall sender, but neither of those would cause ALL those problems. this is easy, but are the plug wires good? i have been messing with my 85's fuel injection trying to fix a bad idle when cold, and having no luck so far...all i can tell you is this, get out the bently, and start checking things...not fun, i know, but unless you want to take it into the shop, that is all there is to it i think...maybe you could expound on the problem a little more for me and i could maybe be of more help? sorry, good luck...
