Subject: 1.9L Rough cold idle-solved
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

so for the last month i had been having this problem, van would not idle when cold without the foot on the gas to warm it up, ran just fine when warm...replaced a few parts that could have been causing the problem, no help...so last night as i was poking around i decided to check my grounds on the left rear head, i had been avoiding this as the a/c compressor is in the way and they looked fine from above...so i get them out, and they are pretty dirty, and one wire from the hall sender is opened up...taped up the wire, used steel wool to get the contacts clean, and you know what? the darn thing will idle now! it still likes to warm up a bit before driving, but it is nice to be able to warm it up without sitting in it! now i have to think of another nick name besides box of sh*t...oh well...thanks to all who have tried to help.
