Scott- Thanks for the info; your argument for FI is well taken. In my case, I've already got the CIS-E setup on my 16V Scirocco autoX car to tinker with if I want to play with FI stuff... I just like the idea of having carbs on the bus! Mine happens to be a non-Cali model, BTW, that will soon be converted to a Pertronix ignition. I'm aware of the Solex carb setups and their shortcomings; again, this is just something for me to tinker with, and all you pro FI guys will probably prove yourselves right in end LOL... but I want to give duals a try and see how thay work.
