The missing drive shat raises big questions about the 4WD system, not to mention the cost of replacing it. I don't want to lowball you but I have seen syncro westies changing hands for ridiculously low prices recently, if there was any question about the syncro gear. $3,000 in one case! Karl had a syncro up for sale for months at $6,900, I dont know what he eventually sold it for. BTW is that a stretch Vanagon in the background?
