Subject:      HELP! Clutch slave-cylinder bolts???

Okay, I've got the bus jacked up and torn apart, blocking my wife's side of the driveway, trying to replace the clutch slave cylinder. For the life of me, I can not figure out how to get to the rear bolt! It's (of course) turning when I try to loosen the nut, and of course all access to the underside is blocked by the bracket. Attempts to jam the bolthead with a screwdriver have been unsuccessful. It appears that I can remove the circlip for the clutch arm, and thereby remove the arm AND the bracket so that I can unbolt the slave cylinder off the bus. Is this the way to go? It seems that even if I were able to get the bolt off where it is now, I'd never be able to get it back on... Any insight is MUCH apppreciated. MTIA-
