Subject: What's this syncro westfalia worth?

Hello Vanagon List,

Can I solicit your assistance in determining a reasonable asking price for this syncro westfalia I want to sell.

It has 148,000 orig. miles, no leaks, pretty clean, runs very well. All the camping gear works and the pop top is in good shape.

You can see details at:

One unfortunate thing is the missing drive shaft... I took it out a couple years ago to avoid wear and tear. The owner of my house went on a cleaning rampage while I was away this summer, and hauled it away with other stuff to the recycling centre....

THe first owner had the van in Tenessee and it's lived with me in California for last 4 years. I"m in the process of moving and really can't give this vehicle the time and attention it deserves.

I appreciate all your input, reflections, advise, recommendations etc!

Thanks,

Karen Meredith
