Yah!

Protest is right!!! I live here in Wash. And this salt stuff sucks!, well kinda sucks, The place they want are going to use it is on I-90 out in the middle of nowhere (2.5 hrs west of Spokane and about 1 hr to the small town of Ellensburg) There is this hill (6-7% grade) for about 5 miles, (kinda like the grape vine) and when it snows these semi trucks get loose and coming down the hill and kill all those people that are already on the hill and then it take about 45 minute for emergency vehicles to get there!!! And if there are really dead then you can't move them until they are pronounced dead and that takes for ever but the snow and Ice keeps the bodies cold. If you can't get up the hill the detour is about an additional 6 hrs to Seattle. SALT SUCKS, ALWAYS CARRY YOUR CHAINS! The truckers should puck up the cost for using the expensive stuff that does not contain salt.
