I took a look a this Syncro last week.  I decided not to buy.
Additional notes to anyone interested.

* It is actually a 1988.
* 7 seater, blue interior, excellent shape.
* Been sitting for 1 year.
* 3 previous owners.
* Silver paint, excellent shape.
* No original A/C.
* Power steering gone.  Leaking somewhere.
* Rear brakes gone, line rusted out.  Brake light does not come on.
* Emergency brakes not working.
* Battery dead.  Not taking a charge or alternator shot.
* Blows blue smoke at high revs.
* Body excellent except for 2 rusted seams.
* Tires poor.  Sidewalls badly cracked.
* Passenger wiper arm bent.
* Muffler gone.  Huge hole near the cat.
* Heater controls very tight and heater facia plate broken.
* Blaupunkt stereo.
* Can't been driven on the road to test.  Can't tell if odometer
working or not.
