I'm not even sure that this is the same size as the unit Karl is importing, but it really is very compact. I can still keep my on the road tools, including a set of 3/4" sockets, back there. Its about the size of a loaf of bread... Its got a double chamber, so it doesn't get hot at all- a little warm to the touch, that is all.

Awfully nice looking unit--but most certainly starts taking up precious storage space under the seat-- Where else could this be mounted --under the van, in a fabricated enclosed box, with the ducting running inside somewhere else? This is one of the reasons I didn't chop holes in the kick board of the rear seat for 6x9 speakers--loss of space-- How hot does this box gets on its exterior surface--?? Just thinking----- Later, Terry E-mail message From: thomas.forhan@mail.house.gov (Forhan, Thomas) Date: Wed, Dec 4, 2002, 3:45pm (CST+1) To: vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com, syncro@yahoogroups.com, syncrolist@yahoo.groups.com, wetwesties@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Syncro] Correct URL forPicture of Propex furnace installed in a Westie http://volksweb.relitech.com/party/1996/party96.htm |
