Well, it definitely does something. Unbeknownst to me, the nuts on the both wiper arms had loosened a bit. I was caught in some bad rain heading from SD to SF and the driver's side arm with the "wing" kept moving to the left until it was wiping air. It looked just pathetic... Frankly, I think it's pretty ridiculous for a van.

I'd like to replace it with a new arm, and wanted to know ... how useful are 1988 + wiper arms that have that black metal air flow arm on them? Does that little black wind spoiler on the wiper arm really help? Since I am going to be replacing my wiper arm, I figured I'd see if it's really useful. I don't think I've ever had a problem with my original 1987 arm - and have wondered home much that black flare helps (or not) ?. I've not priced standard vs. flared arms yet either. > > Just curious if anyone one can comment on one style vs. the other. > > Thanks in advance, > Neil > > __________________________________________________________________ > The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available.
