Hi, I'm replacing the really cracked power steeing belt on my 1.9L (which does not have a/c). The old belt was installed on the middle position of the 3 track engine pulley. Is that the correct position for the PS belt? The outer track of the engine pulley is closer to the plane of the PS pulley so I'm wondering if a previous owner or mechanic made a mistake. Couldn't find an answer in the Bentley or archives... Thanks, Scott Terry '85 Westy "Pearl" 191K Minneapolis P.S. Thanks to all who sent me tips on separating a really stuck CV joint from its driveshaft. Their eduring union has ended. _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail |
