bars leak......used it on old pinto and 65 ponitiac. I know it worked on one of em.
My 90 multi w/140k just started dripping day-glow green coolent(p.o. never had to deal w/this prob).
I was very hesitant to use bar's leak but then figured, what'd ya got to loose?!??
Sure, MAY plug up front heater--but isn't that allot cheaper than new head(s) gaskets? the rear heater is only 65
bucks and easy to change. Checked some independent type web sites about "automotive snake oil" they agree it can
repair small coolant leaks and bar's leak doesn't plug the heater core (unless it's plugged already). shook it
up. dumped it in the main reservoir. guess what...since saturday no more drips.
(listee's disclaimer: I did hedge my bet. had the good fortune to purchase a "hard to find" new 2.1 just in case)
