Hi All...Here is a new one for me. My 87 Westy is running great, smooth, even idle, normal power. I am cruising along at highway speeds (65-70) and I notice on a hill or trying to pass that there has been a loss of power. It is pulling fine on level ground, but any additional stress (hill, head wind, etc.) and it can't keep up. I pull over and notice a rough idle. I stop the engine and restart immediately and all is well again, full power! I went through this 3 times last night on the 3 hour trip home from Maryland. Any suggestions. Could it be a ground problem? Thanks, Finn Runyon 87 Westy "Pooh" |
