Vanagon sideswiped by an 18 wheeler? It's most fortunate that you didn't get hurt. Perhaps you should try to get the insurance company to reimburse you to purchase a replacement vanagon. Then purchase your own vanagon as "totalled" for parts. Most likely your vanagon's frame got bent out of shape in the accident, and it might not be advisable to have the insurance company repair it. Good luck. Harald ''90 westy

Van was towed with steering problems, obvious body work on the left, and transmission out of adjustment. I think it is salvagable. Can anyone give me any advise on how to deal with the commercial trucking company (Transport corporation of America) in getting them to fix the van and give me a rental in the meantime? The accident happened in rural Nevada, highway 95, 40
