I had a friend that won a Levis Chevy Van in a local contest. The van was painted to look like Blue denim fabric, all the seats were upholstered in denim with the yellow stitching and rivets everywhere. It was used at several parades and he seldom drove the ugly thing. Its now sitting out in front of a local junkyard with a for sale sign on it. A glance at a redlight from the fellow drivers is acceptable but having people stare at you is uncomfortable .......... that is why the Levis Van spent all its time in park mode. I can't see the Magnum PI van as an object of art ................. at least wildly painted VW busses of the 60s and 70s were an art form.
