Bottom line: if you have a leaky part; buy a new one. This is the only solution (unless of course you are stranded and have water and an egg and are going to go financially into debt trying to get it to a shop). Putting a Band-Aid (I.E. Bars leak or ANY sort of variant) on a missing limb will not only NOT fix the problem but potentially cause more damage.
