She shouldn't be in a school, then, as she's NOT DOING HER JOB.

Here in NZ in the 70s, when I arrived in the country and was a highschool student, "English" classes should have been called LITERATURE, as spelling, sentence structure etc were not even considered... instead they concentrated on "analyzing" old novels such as "Lord Jim" or plays such as "Pygmalion" or those of Shakespeare. So it's no wonder that Kiwis can't spell or speak properly either.

Those who object are likely to be those who can't spell or speak correctly. This thread IS relevant to the list, as it SHOULD help those with language problems to make their postings easier/more pleasant for other listees!
