As a native Texican, I try to recall how much better those northern climes
have it. Tomorrow morning I will go out for my post church cruise on the
Enfield the crisp 62 degree breeze will awaken my senses and the sun will
shine just a bit brighter. Then I will crawl under the van and check those
grounds again real close.
Ask me again in August whether it is actually living that we do here in
Texas. For now I will take the other side of this. (All in good fun of
course)

Regarding Wasserboxer reputation -
I researched the air-cooled vs. water-cooled 1.9 vs. 2.1 etc. and from my
POV decided the 84 1.9 Westy was an exact fit.  This doesn't blind me from
learning quite a bit from the air-cooled or the 86 and newer gurus.

Planning to take a trip out west and into Mexico to the canyon after
Christmas. 12 hours of driving just to leave Texas. I am just a student at
the Stan school of self reliance. I am most thankful that Stan and others
choose to share their experiences here.
