The Corvair's came with 4 tranny choices 65-69. Ring and pinion ratios are: 3.08, 3.27,3.55 (this is the perfect ratio for a van or truck I'm told), and I think 3.78. You could order them as 4 speeds, 3 speeds, or a 2 speed Powerglide (automatic). American Boxer is now offering a 5 speed with any of those ratios. Basically they mate a Corvair differential and a Borg-Warner T-5. This sort of implies to me that a 6 speed would be avialable to since Borg Warner made a T-6 I think for the Camaros. The Corvair differentials could also be had with Posi-traction (limited slip).
