Not to worry, just drive steady at 65-70. Thats good enough. I drove from Anchorage, Alaska to Birmingham, AL by myself in 7 days. 4,500 miles. Drove 12 hours a day. Made a point to be on the pavement at 6 am and pulling into a campground at 6 pm. Worked out good. Average speed 53.57 mph. Slowest driving in Alaska and on the Alaska Highway through Canada, fastest in the states. Drove straight down out of Canada into Great Falls, MT on down into Denver and swung East on I-70 then cut down through OK. City and picked up I-40 to Memphis, then down US 78 to Birmingham, Alabama. Nobody blew me off the road or shot me the bird. It was a good trip So go for it - on the Interstate.
