I just replaced my Clutch Master last week. It will make a squish when it leaks fluid into the rubber boot at the plunger. Easy job to install. Two mounting bolts; a drain/hose bolt; and a feed tube nipple. You will need something to catch fluid. I used a funnel and a small coffee can. If you procrastinate in fixing the leak like I did, you will need new carpet too. gp 87 syncro ------ John Rodgers wrote: A couple of nights ago I made a short trip and noticed that when I pushed the clutch pedal on my 88 GL, there was a definite "SQUISH" sound. I recently replaced the brake master cylinder because of internal leaks and also leaking and dripping on the floor. Anyone got ideas as to what this "Squish" is about? And if it's clutch master cylinder - how hard to replace? |
