Subject: 1991 Vanagon Head Gasket Problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

My VW is dripping coolant and we found the problem to be a leaking head gasket. I'm sure this infamous problem with the Vanagons has been discussed before on the mailing list, but what do you guys think would be the cheapest thing to do to repair this problem. I'm just a broke college student and looking for the cheapest yet best way to repair this problem. Could it even be possibly cheaper to put a rebuilt or new engine in it? Please help!
