air in the system? from a bad gasket? mine did'nt leak it just did what you have posted. BTW could a defunk water pump cause this air issue? ohh i was'nt " over heating " but it was doing the coolent to overflow tank troubles.

but its dumping you expansion tank causing you light to come on.
