I don't have the magic answer on the price - but buy new axles and not remanufactures ones. I have had crappy luck with the remanufactured ones especially in the A1 and A2 series vehicles. New is a little extra but well worth the money spent.

All,

SyncroBeast is in serious need of Front Axels! The Right one is a bit loose, but the left outer Front has to be no more than an empty housing with a worn off knuckle inside!

I checked the local NAPA, and he doesn't have, not without MORE money, and my cores to rebuild. (Mt. Holley, New Jersey) I'm not sure if that means he can't get locally from his normal rebuilding source, or if NAPA National can't get. NAPA does list the axels on-line. They want $88 per axel, plus $56 core on line.

I supose I shouldn't complain. 60 k miles ago I swapped the fronts left for right because the right outer CV was making a bit of noise. SyncroBeast now has 170 k miles on her, so I guess it's time to replace.

Does anyone have a set of front Syncro Axels? or can get parts for reasonable?

I remember a couple of people who were parting out a couple of Syncro's, but have lost the posts.
