Folks,

Lucked into someone selling an engine you might want to consider for upgrading your rig. From a totalled 2002 Passat, and all that it needs is a new timing belt cover (was cracked) and someone else cannibalized the PS pump. It has only 14K miles on it. It comes with the automatic transmission "free", or he can take it off to save weight in shipping, but the price stays the same.

He'll palletize/pack/deliver to a local shipper for $25 over whatever the freight cost is, or deliver it locally. All I know about it is that it was a wreck purchased at auction by a body shop, and the engine is fine - he's offering a 90-day warranty on it. Email me if you want pics of it, or want to buy it.
