Subject: FOR SALE: '82 VW Vanagon Westie Camper 1.9L Diesel! EC!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Our '82 Westie appeared in Oct.'02 issue of "Cleveland Magazine" chronicling part of the 9,300 mi.western tour my 12 yr.old son and I took last summer! Extensive restoration and upgrades prior to our trip made it the trip of a lifetime...through desert, coast, mountains, plains...we did it all with no problems!! We hate to give up this piece of personal history, but must move on to a bigger beefier machine to get us to our next "call of the wild".... Alaska!! I had this awesome Westie converted in April '02 from a 1.6L diesel to the 1.9L diesel for $3,600. (engine) plus $3615. (labor). Transmission is totally rebuilt, NEW: water pump, skylight, brakes(discs, rotors, pads, wheel cylinders). Rustproofed, soundproofed, paint "protect-a-shine" treated. I paid $6,100. for this Westie prior to conversion. Everything works and is in excellent condition, but I'm willing to sell to the first offer of $7,000.00 !!!! Call me at 216/831-2979(hm), 216/292-1265(wk) or e-mail at: zimhlelh@worldnet.att.net (Henry Zimmerman)
