Eric, my man, the leads from the O2 sensor are within a black wiring LOOM (i.e., jacket, sorta). At the ends of the leads you will find the connections to the wiring harness. The connectors are two in number, one a two-terminal connector for the power to the O2 sensor, the other a single terminal which is connected to, guess what? A SHIELDED single conductor with a thick, STIFF, BRIGHT GREEN outer jacket (unless some jabonie before you has exchanged it for microphone wire). As I said before, the SHIELDING on this signal level conductor can wear through the insulation of the inner conductor at the terminus of the wire. This will effectively ground out the OXS input to the ECU and the symptoms which you described will exist. Now, go out and play.

George
