Actually George, you confirmed it. In the original post cylinders 2 and 4 were identified as possibly being a problem. The later recommendation to swap wires was to swap the wires for 3 and 4. Since 3 was good, if the wire for 4 were bad, the wire swap would leave you with only cylinder 1 and 4 running correctly; hence it would run significantly worse. You could confirm this by removing the wire from #3 and find that there would be no change. At least, I think that's the logic behind all this . . . :^)
