IIRC, on my '87 the wires FROM the O2 sensor to the point where they connect to the wiring harness (near the coil on mine) are the two white, one black as described as above. The green shielded cable comes from the ECU to that point.

So, on mine it's shielded from the ECU to the connector, but from that connector to the O2 sensor it is not.
