Naysayers: It can be done, and safely, provided the engine is built to withstand the extra loads placed on the components. Jeesh, drag race and aircraft engines hold up don't they? (Type 1-based) With proper balancing, Raceware studs AND rod bolts, o-ringed barrels, hardened seats, proper compression ratios, etc., the engines can hold together and will be reliable, while making close to twice the original output. It can be done! Turbo charging is the way to go rather than supercharging, why waste power when it can be [relatively] free?

If you guys turbocharge those engines known for throwing rods and leaking heads you're going to create a national shortage of bricks by using them to block your wheels while waiting on engine parts.
