When you restart after 10 minutes, the idle is higher because the aux air valve may have cooled enough to reopen. A lot of us have replaced the fuel pressure regulator only to have the new one supply the same higher pressure as the old 'bad' one. See the archives. I think Bosch only supplies a replacement that covers a lot of models. (??) Part of the way I have adjusted my previous too high and surging idle was to lower the idle speed at the throttle idle speed screw. When cold, the distributor timing should adjust itself to keep the idle up via the idle stabilizer. The 'closed throttle switch' also needs to be operating properly, and intake air leaks need to be checked out. I cleaned all my grounds and added a few extras. The Digijet ecu grounds via it's mounting bracket, so that needs to be a good ground. I tweaked on so many things I don't know for sure what fixed my idle problems.I also tweaked the AFM spring setting. ( see archives )

Ken at 'Vanagain' has a fuel hose kit that I used to replace my fuel hoses. I consider it money very well spent. Good Luck, Joe 85 GL
