I can't determine exactly where your diagnostics are at this point since
there have been so many postings on this subject line.
I want to let you know that I had a rich running van and after much
frustration (tried about everything) I pulled the cover off the AFM and
found the contact on the AFM stuck in a middle position. I just barley
touched it and it returned to the basic idle location.
While in the 1/2 full open position it ran the fuel injectors all the
time at higher delivery and the fuel pump ran all the time.
It exhibited signs of running rich, rough idling and had a raw fuel smell
at the tail pipe. This van was an Air Cooled but you might want to
include this simple investigation in your search.
