Subject: Couple of items of interest
Hi All,
I have an opportunity to procure the parts for the big amp relay kit at
a pretty good deal on a one time shot, ( 1 week ) and as much as I
want-- from VW-- and prior to loading up with all of the components to
make up these kits I thought I would make an offering to the lists so I
can figure out where I'm going with this.
The deal is---2 genuine 40 amp VW hella relays, the relay mounts, all
the wiring, all wires tagged as to where exactly where they go, allt eh
pre wired terminal ends and a detailed, simple to follow
instructions.---
The price for the whole can of worms will be $30.00--plus $4.00 shipping
wherever you may reside in the continental US.
But prior to me just go and biting the bullet on a railroad car full of
these components, I'd like to have an idea if in fact there is any
interest in them.
And this is only good for one week starting on the 9th of this
month---then the stuff will not be available at this price.
Here's another deal---
For some time I have been a proponent of running 50 watt
tail lights,
stop lights, & turn signal bulbs.
I have had them in my 85 GL for almost 4 years with
excellent results.
On the first day, the first hour, I had my 87 Westy the first thing I
did was to add these efficient tail light bulbs with
absolutely no adverse effect at all to the lenses, except being able to
be seen at night like all the rest of the late model vehicles on the
road--contrary
to one persons negative feedback when he bought and installed them
himself-- at best I think he put in the wrong bulbs in or somethnig.
Anyway here's the deal--I have landed on a load of 50 watt single
filament rear lamp bulbs, for the Vanagon receptacles at a good
price--$2.99 each---a buck less each than I originally got them for my
own Van.
Plus $4.00 shipping priority mail anywhere in the US for a set of 6
bulbs---
The difference is unreal--the rear tail lamps can be seen for miles
instead of feet---excellent rear end visability to on coming traffic---
Later,
