Will a standard upright 1600 fit into an aircooled vanagon? I know the obvious shortcomings--losing 10-20 hp, oil filter, alum case, Raby says the T4 engine is bulletproof, etc-- and that most everyone would recommend against this, but I just gotta know. Other than fabricating cooling tin, what else must be done?
Similar vein: there were some threads about converting the wasserboxer case to an aircooled engine. Is the upright 1600 fan used? What other upright components are used?
