Probably your alternator belt. When its cold it doesn't flex as easily and hence is probably spinning a bit at the crank. You can tighten it up a bit, but if you tighten it too much you risk damaging the alternator bearing. I've often wondered if I could sand (roughen) the pulley a bit to provide better grip. Never done it...just one of many round tuits...
