Thanks to those who offered suggestions on the starting problem. I do think (although I am not sure) that the fuel pump is indeed functioning correctly and thus the fuel pump relay too. Seems wierd that it would just act up on a few cold mornings and no other time. I just did a tune up on it this past summer and so my guess is with Al Jordan's on it being fuel related... fuel line freeze up. I'm going to try some good quality dry gas and urge my wife (like I have been doing for years) to keep the gas tank more than half full. Also thinking of switching out the 20 W 50 oil that I have in there now for something lighter.
