yes it was an option in canada, usually the drivers seat only. the control was on the upper steering column cover. canadian listmember pedro dos santos has the heated drivers seat on his '91 vanagon. and ps - ALL vanagons with power mirrors have the heating element in the power mirrors. if you've got power mirrors, then youve got heated mirrors.. unless youre like me and you just stuck the power mirrors on there from another van and never hooked them up.. :<) chris
