Should fit. I've had 8" wide ET23 wheels on with nary a peep from the sliding door. That's about 19.7 mm further out than the wheels you are contemplating.

Your contemplated combination is 205 X 55% yields a tire height of 112.75 mm. Plus 406.4 mm (16") rim equals 519.15 mm total height.

The taller of the stock combos is 205 X 70% yields a tire height of 143.5 mm. Plus 366.6 mm (14") rim equals 499.10 mm total height.

So in my guess-timation, your contemplated combo is only marginally taller than stock. Give or take a few millimeters for differing tire manufacturers and my poor math skills. Corrections invited.
