Jeez, we've had those for years. Stock Impreza WRX STi Type RA, claimed 290hp (and you can bet they're over 300 in reality). Also twin-turbo Legacys are 290+.

Sure they will. You'd need to modify the slave cylinder to clear the plumbing (makes more sense than hacking the plumbing). Move cylinder away from turbo and fit long pushrod. Fit a heatshield too.
