Assumption: You have a Westy with a fridge and sink....

There are 2 red wires attached to the OEM relay.  One is for the
fridge and is only hot when the engine is running.  The other red wire
is a continuous hot for the water pump.

Since you have one red wire not attached either you have the 12volt
use of fridge not working (when engine running) or the water pump
doesn't work.  If your water pump does work then the extra wire is for
the fridge.
