By the way, a very nice looking interior, though I'm not quite sure it works with your exterior color....I could see it on my Burgundy Westy very easily...

I believe the original carpet was 3 pieces...but the other two pieces were the wheel wells under the seats, while the main carpet was one piece that include driver/passenger and center sections.

What I would do, is stick with the good wearing carpet that they installed, but ask for an overlay carpet (custom fitted floor mats) of the thicker plusher variety (dyed lambs wool as an example). That way you get the best of both worlds (and added noise dampening too.)
