We also sell Sewfine's products (albeit not at a significant discount, so it's mostly a matter of the convenience of being able to add it to a Bus Depot order). Sewfine offers a variety of "custom" styles with many color and pattern choices. If you're looking for an exact duplicate of the original VW part, that is not Sewfine's focus, but when it comes to "custom interiors" they make an excellent product.

However, for those whose tastes lean toward Genuine Volkswagen, I will soon have another option for some Vanagon models, at least for a short time. Much of the large shipment of N.O.S. Vanagon goodies that I have coming in January (and mentioned here before) is brand new, genuine VW interior stuff.

This includes: - Door panels (front and sliding) in both gray and tan (GL & Wolfsburg styles), plus sliding door panels in blue and rear hatch panels in black - Front carpet in gray (the whole shaped/molded front floor section) plus the same in black rubber (as found on many European models) - Gray (Wolfsburg, GL, Multivan, Camper) seat upholstery (sofabed, rear mattress, front seat bottoms but not backs) - OEM upholstery fabric by the meter for the older Vanagon Westies (striped beige/brown/blue as used around '80-83) - Plus lots of other stuff like gray front curtains and mosq uito screens, a few tables, rare Westy accessories, and more.

This is genuine Volkswagen production from two decades ago, brand new, never seen the inside of a van, shipping directly from a warehouse in Germany where it's been in storage for years. If you like the "original VW" look, this is it. The correct heat seams on the door panels, the correct colors and patterns on the upholstery, etc. Completely original, right down to the VW inventory sticker still on the part. Prices will be cheaper than aftermarket, and way cheaper than the original VW prices. However, quantities will be quite limited on some items, so this will be a one-shot deal, not an ongoing offering.

Again, I won't have a full list until mid to late January, when the container arrives, but it may be worth waiting until then if you're considering upgrading your Vanagon interior. Just thought I'd give you a heads-up for that reason. Once the container arrives (at port around January 10, then perhaps a week or two for customs clearance), I'll post full details and hopefully some pics.
