I have a problem with my 92 engine. Guys I know it is not all vanagon but I think you can help anyway It is running rich at the moment and I think I heard it backfire through the exhaust the other day. Also it for just a second or 2 wll lose power and come back to life as I am going down the road as if it just passed water thru one of the pistons. I have changed out the air flow meter with no help next friday I will be changing the head temp switch to see if that fixes it or not .Please if there is anyone on the list that might just know what it is doin or trying to tell me what it is doing let me know . I am inches away from getting rid of her I do not want to do this but if I must I will Darrel Combs 1988 Vanagon With '92 Cabriolet engine
