Hello List, I'm looking for suggestions to solve a lack of power problem in my 90 Westy. Symptoms: ------------ * idles okay @ 950 rpm, revs up and down smoothly in neutral (no load) * when under load it bogs down with very little power * happens in all gears, but particularly in 3rd and 4th gear * engine vibrates (more than normal) when under load Attempted fixes: ------------------- * timing adjusted per Bentley * changed AFM * checked O2 sensor and voltage * looked for vaccuum leaks and made fixes * gas line not frozen, good gas * changed Temp II sensor Other: -------------- * Compression is: #1 (105) #2 (135) #3 (105) #4 (135) * Oil pressure is good. Engine not burning oil. * Exhaust seems to be free flowing okay. * No rich running problems, no black smoke. * The problem happened when driving on the highway. I was pulled over by the police and when I was accelerating hard into the highway traffic the engine bogged down with the symptoms above. Any suggestions would be appreciated. - Laurence
