John, I believe Jerry West at EuroAir would be glad to sell the center (ash tray) AC vents he offers. If not mistaken ... I believe Warren Chapman got one from him to try and install with his factory OE Behr AC system. The radio is mounted on top of the dash in a plastic housing. My 1980 Westfalia had the same housing except the housing was mounted vertically down by the floor in front of the shifter. It would be nice to be able to find just the vent like Larrys to swap the two around. I plan on adding the rear air con as well when I install the interior from a wrecked 1985 Westfalia GL I just got at an auction. The Adventurewagen's interior is pretty well trashed. |
