This post reminded me that I'd recently kludged together my Syncro's exhaust. When the bolt holes finally rust away on your "Y" collector and it's midnight on a Saturday and you've just got to get there... I used a couple of angle brackets and a muffler clamp - http://www.bright.net/~agordon/vw/kludge.htm -and even though it's probably good for another ten or fifteen years, does anyone have a good used collector to sell?
