I have a S&S header on my 1987 Syncro, and noticed a huge difference in everything from performance (pick up) to mileage as well as a lower "note". It cost me about $350 installed from Vintage Performance in Minnesota (jjbbhome@ll.net), and I was told the installation was "flawless". I have another Van needing an exhaust in about 2-3 months, and I'll probably get the same S&S, though this time I'll get the ceramic coated version. If Stebro offered a header, I'd REALLY look @ that. The only drawback on the S&S is that is's steel, and in the salt belt, it kind of suck.
