I saw a very unusual vanagon early this morning, and I wanted to find out if the owner is a list member.

It was a green Westy, with a red top. It had some sort of custom plate, with a barber pole on it. The little, old driver was very quick and lively, and gave me a wink as he passed. He was apparently having engine trouble, because the van was being pulled by a team of eight unusually small deer of some kind. Whatever they were, they were fast, because he blew by me in a flash.

As he drove out of sight, I heard him exclaim, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
