       Sorry, but I have to jump in here and disagree with your misleading 
information.  The <A HREF="http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/stebro.htm">STEBRO/Vanagon Stainless Steel Muffler and J-pipe</A> and DANSK 
stainless steel header pipes from the Bus Depot will out last anything else 
you can put there and they fit just like the OEM parts.  In fact, the muffler 
with its integral mounting brackets and integral tail pipe are a way better 
set up than the OEM set up, just because of those two issues.
       Complete stainless steel system on my '87 Westy is now over five years 
old.  Driven daily all year in Ottawa salty roads climes and the only sign of 
degradation is to the flanges and support brackets of the DANSK headers as 
they used mild steel flanges and support brackets for some crazy reason !  
The recent DANSK headers I have received from the Bus Depot have stainless 
steel brackets but not the flanges.
